Service technician • Providence County, Rhode Island

Join our team: we are hiring a service technician in Providence County, Rhode Island. You will work in a fleet maintenance depot. The role involves check and top up coolant, brake fluid and power-steering fluid; trace electrical faults in the starting and charging systems; replace alternators, starter motors and batteries; service and replace timing belts and chains; bleed the brake hydraulic lines and check pad wear; replace brake pads, discs and callipers. Requirements: • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance • Comfortable working in inspection pits and on ramps • At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a car mechanic 1+ years on the tools preferred. $120 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
