Steel fixer wanted in Grainger County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Grainger County, Tennessee. The job is at a high-rise construction project. On a typical shift you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
