Now hiring: we are hiring a building site helper in Dixie County, Florida. You will set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean. You should have: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
