We are recruiting: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Gujba, Yobe State. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Day-to-day duties: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) Full-time with occasional weekends.
