Ladle pourer wanted in Rockwall County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Rockwall County, Texas. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling On the job you will handle: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch Overtime paid at a premium rate.
