Slinger signaller wanted in Washington County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Washington County, Maryland. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear The role involves: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
