Tig welder — Citrus County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tig welder in Citrus County, Florida. Day to day you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Rotating shifts.
