Dishwashing attendant — Jefferson County

Join our team: we are hiring a dishwashing attendant in Jefferson County, New York. Day to day you will scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift; polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass; hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method; sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations. Requirements: • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
