Sheet metal welder • Custer County, Montana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Custer County, Montana. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience.
