Immediate opening: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Taylor County, Wisconsin. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers The role involves: • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
