Urgent requirement: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. The job is at a busy body shop. The role involves sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper. What we are looking for: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience.
