We are recruiting: powder coating technician (South Dakota)

Join our team: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Union County, South Dakota. You will work at a fabrication and coating plant. On the job you will handle: • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes Pay around $24 per hour, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
