Tig welder • West Lothian, Scotland

Join our team: we are hiring a tig welder in West Lothian, Scotland. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day to day you will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. £2,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
