Immediate opening: commercial tyre fitter (California)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a commercial tyre fitter in Amador County, California. The job is in a commercial truck tyre depot. On the job you will handle: • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres • Carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts Ideal candidate: • Awareness of workshop health and safety • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
