Tailor machinist — Saint Francois County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Saint Francois County, Missouri. Your main tasks: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go Requirements: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
