Urgent requirement: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Kware, Sokoto State. The job is at a manufacturing plant. What we are looking for: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Day to day you will run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry.
