We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment machinist in Cameron County, Texas. Requirements: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Day-to-day duties: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
