Gtaw welder wanted in Ukum

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Ukum, Benue State. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Day-to-day duties: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
