Steel erection rigger • Etinan, Akwa Ibom State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Etinan, Akwa Ibom State. What we are looking for: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Your main tasks: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads ₦150,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
