Reinforcement fitter • Allen County, Kansas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Allen County, Kansas. Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Your main tasks: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
