Vacancy available: we are hiring a banksman in Shasta County, California. The job is at a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Your main tasks: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle Full-time, day shift.
