You will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Rotating shifts.
