Tyre bay technician wanted in Lamar County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tyre bay technician in Lamar County, Mississippi. You will be based in a commercial truck tyre depot. Ideal candidate: • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills Your main tasks: • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
