Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Ikono, Akwa Ibom State. The job is at an infrastructure construction site. The role involves: • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour You should have: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
