Glass fitter — Colorado County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a glass fitter in Colorado County, Texas. You will work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders; measure window and door openings and order glass to size; glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions; secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames. What we are looking for: • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift 6+ years on the tools preferred.
