Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Jefferson County, Tennessee. You will be based on a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage Your main tasks: • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
