Vacancy available: we are hiring a banksman in Windham County, Vermont. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. Day-to-day duties: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight You should have: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Six days a week, one day off.
