Great opportunity: we are hiring an ACP cladding fabricator in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. The job is in a glazing and curtain wall company. What we are looking for: • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections On a typical shift you will fabricate and fit aluminium composite panel (ACP) cladding; erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site; fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels; drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws; crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine; fix handles, hinges, friction stays, locks and multipoint hardware. 2+ years on the tools preferred. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
