Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Candler County, Georgia. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances On the job you will handle: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required 5+ years on the tools preferred.
