Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Coweta County, Georgia. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. You will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Full-time with occasional weekends.
