Immediate opening: we are hiring a glazier in Northwest Arctic Borough, Alaska. You will be based in a mirror and glass showroom. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes The role involves: • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Replace cracked or broken window panes Rotating shifts.
