Now hiring: we are hiring a banksman in Preston County, West Virginia. You will work at a container port. On the job you will handle: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Rotating shifts.
