Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Falkirk, Scotland. You will be based at a container port. Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles The role involves: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Read lift plans and method statements before starting Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. £2,750 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
