Your main tasks: • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun Requirements: • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Able to read and match factory paint codes 6+ years on the tools preferred.
