Shuttering fixer • Jasper County, Indiana

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Jasper County, Indiana. You will be based on a busy high-rise construction site. The role involves brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters. Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Able to read formwork and structural drawings 3+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
