Gas meter installer • Fayette County, Ohio

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Fayette County, Ohio. You will be based in customers' homes and kitchens. Day-to-day duties: • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Able to read isometric and site drawings Full-time with occasional weekends.
