Landscape gardener wanted in Wilkes County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Wilkes County, North Carolina. You will work on the grounds of a hotel resort. Day-to-day duties: • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters Requirements: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
