Join our team: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Jackson County, Illinois. The job is on a high-rise façade. Day-to-day duties: • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
