Great opportunity: we are hiring a mosaic tiler in Eilean Siar, Scotland. The job is at a busy tiling site. You should have: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter On a typical shift you will screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. £4,800 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
