Brick mason • Island County, Washington

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick mason in Island County, Washington. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. What we are looking for: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Your main tasks: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder Six days a week, one day off. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
