Canteen cook wanted in Sabine Parish

Now hiring: we are hiring a canteen cook in Sabine Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. Your main tasks: • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Prepare the mise en place before each service What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking Part-time with flexible hours.
