Building site helper • Taos County, New Mexico

Immediate opening: we are hiring a building site helper in Taos County, New Mexico. You should have: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it The role involves: • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
