Now hiring: refrigeration field service technician (North Carolina)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. You will work in a commercial cold storage facility. The role involves: • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge Requirements: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns Pay around $8,500 per project, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
