Aluminium tig welder — Blackpool

Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Blackpool, England. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. The role involves back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
