We are recruiting: we are hiring a site safety steward in Sumter County, Georgia. Ideal candidate: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Day to day you will stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points.
