You should have: • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Own basic hand tools an advantage The role involves: • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Replace cracked or broken window panes • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
