Great opportunity: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Decatur County, Iowa. The job is at an industrial plant. Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing The role involves spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape.
