Vacancy available: HSE officer (Kansas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a HSE officer in Stafford County, Kansas. You will work at an oil and gas facility. What we are looking for: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Day to day you will inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action.
