Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Yankton County, South Dakota. The job is at a precast concrete yard. The role involves fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss. Requirements: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Able to read formwork and structural drawings At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
