GTAW welder — Oconto County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Oconto County, Wisconsin. On the job you will handle: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through You should have: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
